But I do want to explain the tattoo. I wanted a really flowery, sweet image with JTK in the middle to contrast with the strong, manly hunk of a Vulcan![...]
I could talk about drawing for hours! This piece, Spock’s Tattoo, was done with a new kind of graphite pencil that I had only recently discovered. These pencils are much softer and darker than regular graphite pencils. So you have to be really careful not to overuse them. But I knew that the darker pencils would be perfect for this portrayal of Spock. Here he is strong and stern and is getting tattooed which is a much more intense scene.
And I love, love, drawing Spock’s hair! At the previous KiScon, I gave a presentation of drawing Spock’s hair. One of my favorite things.💜💜💜💜 [1]

Wow there really are so many wonderful hidden details in this image! I didn't even see the IDIC in his buckle until I scrolled up again. Now the only question remains is who's giving the tattoo? Lovely work, as always!! <3 <3[6]
