spn_illuminated was a challenge in Supernatural fandom that was similar to a reverse bang where writers wrote a story based on a piece of art. Artists had to submit a completed piece of art, which was then claimed by a, writer, and writers has to write a minimum of 4000 words within a two month period. It was open to all pairings and characters. It ran for two cycles in 2012.
