Nice PWP - Blake barges into Avon's room to harass him into fixing something but is extremely startled to discover him masturbating...[1]
Second Thomas story, and... I both like this one more than 'Pedestal' and less. The bit with Avon thinking about how incredibly sexy he is is almost unreadably embarrassing and then we have another instantiation of one of my personal bugbears (i.e. Blake is sleeping with other people on board the Liberator, in this case probably just Jenna - and Avon makes an unsuccessful play for Cally at the beginning too) and then... I really like the sex and the conversation during. It is tender and meaningful and about how they care about each other too much (but Blake is sleeping with Jenna! How can it mean anything?) [2]
Blake interrupts Avon in a somewhat compromising position and things sort of happen from there. I think I liked the way Blake was handled...um, treated here, and I liked the way he left at the end. Not really nice, but not bashed either.[3]
Thomas, "Splendid Isolation," Fire and Ice #2. starts out as Avon/Avon, but then Blake comes in.[4]
