Spectrum was a Star Trek and science fiction convention held in 1976 in Houston, Texas.

The convention deals with science fiction, television, fantasy, STAR TREK, and comics. Guests: George Pal, Jim Danforth, Darren McGavin, Kathy Browne, Mariette Hartley, Jim Steranko, and Pat Boyette. Feature events are: gigantic film show, premiere episode of "The Metamorph" -- Space's: 1999's fantastic introduction of Maya, sneak previews of at least three feature films, panel discussions, dealers room.
