Spaced Ponies are vidders whose gen fanvids appeared at several MediaWest*Con vid contests. The showed videos at Mediawest from 1993 to 2012, missing a few years in 2002 & 2009. They started out as 2 separate groups, Pony Girls and Space Monkey Junkie, but began collaborating and then combined into Spaced Ponies. They also made a few slash vids under the name Cosmic Stallions.

Pony Girls started out with just Paula for the first couple of years, then Donna joined for 1995 & 1996, but then she dropped out so it was just Paula again after that. Space Monkey Junkie was Joyce. Spaced Ponies & Cosmic Stallions were both Paula & Joyce.

The group spanned both the analog and digital vidding eras: They started out with two regular VHS VCRs, then purchased a VHS editing VCR. They eventually switched to computer editing in 2000: "Paula had Windows & Joyce had a Mac, and we both worked on both of them. We used Adobe Premiere editing software at first, & later switched to Pinnacle Studio Plus."
