Solidus was a fan gathering that took place in Seattle, WA in the 1990s.

These gatherings were weekend-long, mini-convention/"slumber party" that the Virgule Convention held during the off-years in Seattle. This meant that they were held in the same years as Zebracon.

There were two, perhaps three of them. The organizers expected only locals to attend, but some folks actually flew to the Sea-Tac hotel for the weekend from all over the United states.

Some of these gathers had 50+ attendees each time.

While there was not an official program, there was a weekend-long hospitality suite and room vid parties.

While the term virgule is named for the slash between words (and/or), a solidus is the slash between numbers (1/4).
