OK - so, this is basically awful, but because I am a terrible person and like slave fics where they are made to have sex with each other while someone watches... I also sort of like... elements of it. It's quite a good Avon, who stays to get captured with Blake, rather than escaping though he doesn't know why - which I like, although he's too competent (he literally sexes his way to freedom. He's so good at sex, his mistress gives both him and Blake their freedom!). Meanwhile Blake is so wet. He literally has to be coddled into everything. It's lucky Avon is, as I said, so good and able to take the lead. All that said about the terrible Blake characterisation, there's then an interesting ending where he's is willing to let the people who sex-slaved him and Avon donate to the Cause of Freedom - and Avon is like 'you are a mental hypocrite. But also sexy'. Then it ends too suddenly. But yes - in summary, I don't entirely hate it, though I probably should.[1]
In "Slaver", Avon and Blake are sold as sex slaves to a high priestess and her virgin daughter but since Mystral never really decides whether this is a pleasant romp or an exercise in humiliation, the story remains uncomfortably superficial.[2]
