Slash Vidding: Editing and Media Representation is a 2018 video essay edited by Lucia Gilbert, with voiceover by Jorge Núñez. The video discusses LGBT representation in popular media, and how fans utilize the practice of editing to create representation where the source material may be lacking.

Description

I did my undergrad thesis on the role of editing in relation to the lack of queer representation in the media. This is the visual analysis that went along with it and, considering what this channel is about, I thought to share with you all. So even though there's a lot of stuff missing I wish I could've included this is a summary of all the topics I covered in my thesis.
