Skull is a character from Katekyou Hitman Reborn.
Canon
Skull is the Arcobaleno with cloud flames. The only member of the group to come from a civilian background, he is considered the weakest of the seven and is pushed around by some of the other members (especially Reborn and Colonello). Originally a motorcycle-riding stuntman who could recover from any dangerous injury because of his cloud flames, he became more involved in the mafia/the underworld after joining the Arcobaleno. He dresses in biker leather (often with a helmet), wears emo makeup, and has a showman's personality/flamboyant attitude.

Crossovers
In canon, Skull's past isn't involved in the mafia and thus isn't elaborated on much. This, combined with his exaggerated, almost put-on reactions, and the fact he wears concealing makeup makes him an appealing character to cross over with other fandoms. A secret past established in the separate crossover canon plus the fact that he is the underdog of the Arcobaleno means that fanwork creators have a lot of potentially great reveals and comeuppance. Harry Potter as Skull is one of the especially popular setups.[1] Post-canon, Master of Death Harry wants to get away from the Wizarding World for whatever reason, or he ran away at an earlier point, and he puts on a mask in front of the other Arcobaleno, concealing his power.

Perhaps because of Reborn's bullying of Skull (easy to portray as an obsession and/or need to assert power over him), Reborn/Skull is one of the most popular of Skull's ships.
He is sometimes also given a mentor relationship over other characters such as Sawada Tsunayoshi.
