Sitting Pretty is a digital zine featuring characters from D.Gray-man in 1920's fashion.
About
Sitting Pretty is a zine dedicated to our favorite DGM characters in 1920’s fashion, in honor of (somehow) making it to 2020! This zine will be digital-only and for profit. We will be looking for 20 artists to join us on this venture, as well as one cover artist.[1]
A "Roaring 20's" themed zine opened interest checks from May 15 to May 27, 2020[2]. The zine's full information was posted in a Google Documents file shared on June 29th, 2020[3]. The zine would be a digital only zine with digital merchandise included and would be for profit. Ships were allowed in the zine, but were not encouraged to be made the focus. Any content the moderators considered pedophilic, incestuous, or abusive content would not be allowed in the project.
Contributor applications opened from June 29 to July 29, 2020[4]. Acceptance emails were sent out on August 5, 2020[5].
Preorders opened on November 1, 2020, on Gumroad for $10 USD on the first two weeks of opening, then $15 USD from November 30th to closing[6]. This discount deal was extended to the closing day on December 15th[7].
The project was officially closed on December 16, 2020[8].
