Excerpts
What is your favorite X-Files episode and why?:
Blessing Way: Skinner and Scully facing off at gun point. In my world they realize they are hot for each other, toss down their weapons and lunge at each other, locking lips, ripping off clothes... but I digress.
Paper Clip: "This is where you pucker up and kiss my ass," I just love it when Skinner says Ass.
Jose Chung: I fell off the couch laughing.
Tunguska: shirtless Skinner punching Krychek in the gut, and leaning over him on the balcony: "Think warm thoughts."
Redux: Skinner catching Scully as she collapses. In my world, they realize they are hot for each other... oh wait - we've been here already
Detour: no Skinner but it was ultra spooky. I love spooky x-files.
Bad Blood: Mulder being dragged around in circles by an out of control winnebego - I laughed, I cried, I hiccuped and laughed some more.
What are your top five all-time favorite stories?:
um... how bout 7? Even that was tough.
A Long Shadow by Western Rose: Rich characters, incredible detail.
Les Dames by Paula Bilyeu: The story pours out envelopes you.
Look at the Stars by Fleable: I can read it over and over.
Sacrifices by Foxfiles: A touching and bitter sweet story.
The Sale of the Century by Red Valerian: One of the first stories I read and one of the finest.
Nexus by Xanthe: When I grow up I wanna write like that.
Moondance by Perri: Wonderfully romantic without being over sentimental and schmoopy.
How do you feel about fanfic in general?:
It's fabulous. I have enjoyed hours and hours of terrific reading. And then there's the thrill of finishing a story, the sheer terror of sending it out "there" then waiting impatiently for someone, anyone to write you and say they liked it. Absolute joy.
