Con Report

... on the recent Sioux Empire Peace Trek: "Sioux Empire Peace Trek was not well attended and not especially well organized. Despite the costumes and uniforms, it was undoubtedly the most uneventful convention I have ever attended. The atmosphere was so subdued as to be one conducive to a long nap. There was one notable exception. Walter Koenig and Mark Lenard performed the one-act play, "Actors". The audience was spellbound, privy to penetrating insights about two actors revealed at a moment of crisis and impending change in their personal lives. It was another riveting performance by these two fine actors.

A word should be added,, however, about the events offered at the con. The "roast" of the character Chekov, although too long, featured one entertaining speech, delivered by Cindy Kay Murray. The most interesting moments were during the roast, and the banquet featured good food, a real surprise to the seasoned con-goer. [1]

Sioux Empire Peace Trek with Walter Koenig, Mark Lenard, and Bjo Trimble was a quiet con, but fun and friendly. Bjo is a delight. "Actors " was better than the first time [2]. Mark and Walter were just great, and if you ever get to see them in the play, you will be as moved by the experience as I have been! [3]
