Silk Stalkings was a crime drama TV series that aired from 1991-1999. It started as part of CBS's "Crimetime After Primetime" block, before going on to the USA Network. Its most popular run focused on the team of Sgt. Chris Lorenzo and Sgt. Rita Lee Lance, as they investigated sex crimes in Miami.

Fandom

The show fell victim to "They Did It" (one of the categories on the defunct jumptheshark.com), as having Chris and Rita resolve their UST led to Estes and Kapture leaving the show and them being replaced by inferior characters and the audience abandoning the show.

The "inferior" male character Tom Ryan was played by Chris Potter (who already had a fan following from his very popular role as Peter Caine in Kung Fu: The Legend Continues). But as a syndicated program in the United States, channels stuck it in late night slots at irregular hours, making it difficult for viewers to find.

Silk Stalkings was featured in MediaWest*Con programming from 1999 to 2002.
