This time last year the situation was precisely the opposite. In some areas
- any* discussion of Daniel leads to accusations of Daniel-centricity,
especially now. This list has a rule about the means of discussing spoilers for a reason.
I find it incredibly sad and ironic that now, on the cusp of a new season we should all be happy about, there remains such animosity against the characters, and between fans.
One doesn't like a list, then leave it...heaven knows we've all done it over the past two years as lists became more like battlegrounds and sides were chosen that precluded the comfortable participation of certain fans. But why make a public statement condemning the entire membership as you go? This list was created because the other existing spoiler list was so rife with infighting one couldn't post at all without risking a fight, I think this one goes a long way toward defeating that atmosphere as long as people follow the rules.

I was just thinking about it while I was reading and posting for another group I belong to. It's a Farscape group and even though the show was cancelled the group still goes strong. I think it's because the group is more open and kind of breezy and people talk about all sorts of things, I know this group isn't like that and is more strict and a spoilers only type thing. So when the spoilers are over what will happen next? >>
Quite honestly, I haven't really thought about it. Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
I might just make it a general discussion group at that point, but also open to spoilers and news.
