You do you. But I gotta say, though they do have an fascinating dynamic, Serena is abusive to June among other things. I don’t think that should be taken lightly or forgotten. So idk...there’s something about the idea of them being shipped together I find as unsettling.
Personally, I’m not sure this is really a show to have fandom ships with. I don’t like even saying I ship the couples I like together bc it somehow feels weird. [1]
honestly i wish people would stop assuming that because i ship serena and june i somehow love the horrible things she’s done to her?????? like some people gotta think for just a FEW MORE SECONDS and at least TRY to understand that it’s not the sexual assault/baby robbery/physical abuse serena x june shippers are supporting it’s the extremely complex, multicolored relationship that they have that can branch out “romatically” (im putting quotations b/c their relationship is never solely romantic or fluffy lol). trust me I DESPISE some parts of serena equally as you do and there are moments i just want to MURDER her or amputate her limbs but y’all gotta stop attacking people who support this ship, even i can’t go around saying i ship them so hard together because i almost always get attacked no matter what kind of reason i provide because their response is always ‘sHe iS A mOnStEr’ [2]
