Separate Waters was a fanfiction archive in X-Men fandom, hosted on GeoCities. It contained 37 stories by 20 contributing authors. The site was active in the late 1990s, it was closed on February 3, 2002 without explanation. Stories had to be at least 1,000 words long and could not be sexually explicit.
Sections
A variety of archive sections were proposed, but the following were implemented:

- Tails of a River Rat (Rogue)
- Watch on the Rhine (Magneto/Joseph)
- The Seven Seas and Everything in Between (Miscellany)
