Sentinels of the Multiverse is a media franchise that began as a card game and received some video games, including a digital version of said card game, a board game called Sentinels Tactics, a tabletop roleplaying game, and a podcast discussing the lore of the various imagined comic series the card game is supposed to be about. All are set in a fictional multiverse which is not naturally traversable, but the actions of various god-like beings made it so. The podcast is generally the most serious take on the setting but with many jokes made by the hosts, with the card game being somewhat more up to the players to decide the lore, since implausible things such as heroes from different time periods fighting villains that they should have already beaten can occur, although everything in official material is canon.
