This is an AU where sentinels and guides are known. They are not slaves per se, but their civil rights are severely curtailed. Once a sentinel or guide is identified, they are drafted into the military. Further, there are many prejudices regarding them, especially towards guides. Because of their sensitivities, the general perception is that guides are sexual perverts.[1]
