The SFX Prompt Big Bang was a multifandom big bang challenge, focused on science fiction and fantasy fandoms, with the one difference from a traditional big bang being that the authors had to choose from submitted prompts for their story inspiration. Authors had to write a minimum of 10,000 words, and artists had to submit a minimum of one piece of a medium of their choosing.

Notes/Warnings: Thank you to my long-suffering beta and co-mod glitterfics who a) convinced me we could run a big bang and b) helped me through my fic even when I was at my most exasperating. For those of you that might be interested (and not already worked it out for yourself), the story’s title is from the song Remains by Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon. It’s the song played at the end of Dollhouse’s “Epitaph One”.

Also, I should point out, that originally this story was supposed to be longer, but my muze decided to take a permenant vacation from this story. Sorry about that.
