The Science-Fiction Association was a British organization established with the 1937 Leeds Convention. It lasted until 1939, when it was suspended due to the outbreak of World War II and never reestablished.
A 1939 ad listed some prominent members, including American fans: John Russell Fearn, Forrest J Ackerman, Festus Pragnell, William F. Temple, Oliver Saari, Gerald Evans, Olaf Stapledon, John W. Campbell, Russell T. Hodgkins, Ted Carnell, Walter H. Gillings and Professor A. M. Low.[1]
