Redacted is a pair of zines featuring fanart and fanfiction of the romantic pairing, Dabi/Hawks from Boku no Hero Academia. The zine project consisted of two zines, one for fanart and one for fanfiction, as well as additional merchandise.
About
A DabiHawks/荼毘ホ/HotWings Zine featuring themes from childhood, post 266 angst and happy endings.[1]
Announcements for the project were made on June 6, 2020. Preorders opened on July 24, 2020 and closed on December 18, 2020. The pricing tiers were as follows:
- Digital Briefing ($15 USD) - PDF Files
- Dead Drop ($20 USD) - PDF Files, Physical Zines
- Support Package ($40 USD) - PDF Files, Physical Zines, Postcards, Diecut Sticker, Sticker Sheet, Acrylic Charms
An additional postcard print was available as a stretch goal if preorders reached 100 orders.
Physical bundles began shipment on September 28, 2020. PDFs were sent on October 1, 2020. Leftover sales opened on October 6, 2020 and closed on October 7, 2020.
