Angel Girl is an early Xena vid by Jett and Muz. It is among a group of some of the earliest Xena fan vids.
Vidder's Summary:" k, here is the scoop. kathleen hanna, tobi vail, kathi wilcox and billy karren played all over the world as bikini kill. they mostly toured the US and UK though. anyways, imho (in my humble opinion), i would say kathleen and tobi were key forces behind riot girl through music, spoken word, zines and other activities. they inspired alot of people... kinda like how xena inspires young women today just in a different way."[2]
Vidder's Notes
"....when we started this madness, there were no other sites making re-mixed xena flix that went beyond your basic video captures. well, jett and i decided to embark on this chaotic journey... we scraped together wot we could using premiere, mirovideo dc30, after effects, photoshop & soundforge. warning though, i had no idea what i was doing... i had never used premiere before so i'm still learning as i go... luckily, jett was in the co-pilot seat to keep me from crashing and burning..."[3]
On Their Early Vids
"Unless noted these videos were all created back in the mid to late 90'sA friend and me (we were under the monikers of Muz & Jett) had a web site known as "Jezmond's Portal" on a domain that no longer exists. Having bought a video capture card (this is when they were $1,000/card) and I having taken college courses in Video editing decided to embark on the world wide web's very first Xena video site.
Yup, we created the first Xena music videos! And a phenomenon was born."[4]
