From the editor:

I hope you enjoy this first issue of RAGNAROK. For the most part, it will feature panals [sic] of the Star Trek con. I hope you will forgive the sloppy look to some of the features, but this will be made up for in the next issue. This issue is coming out latter than I though it would, but better late than never and all that. Even as I am typing this the CosmicCon is over, but I am expecting a article about it, from Canada. I am now working with Adam Malin on getting a few fans to help. I am planing on a giant 5th issue, about 5O-8O pages, a color cover and much more. Also, I plan to give a prize for the best, most popular feature up till the 5th issue. This means that we will need; good artwork, articles, interviews, and stuff like that in genaral [sic]. The 5th issue will have lots of the afor [sic] mentioned things (strips too, so why don't you send in what ever you have [to] offer? Send in your comments for the letter page too. There will be info about #2 in the things to come page.

Also from the editor:

Say, have you ordered the second issue of Ragnorak? Look who we have working on it. Adam Malin, Steve Jenkins, George Schwartz, Bruce Herahenson, David Simons, L. O'Neal, Scott Edelman, Jack Kelly. To mention a few. It will use the basic Comic Fandom Monthly format with a lot of new ideas added. Ever day, more and more artist and writers are being added so send for your copy now and avoid the rush.
