Radiant Historia is a JRPG first released for the Nintendo DS in 2010. Time travel is a key part of Radiant Historia's gameplay and story, and playing through the game requires the player to go through two alternate timelines. In 2017, the game was ported to the 3DS with new art and a new "extra" storyline meant to expand on the events of the original game. Critical response was largely positive, but long-term fans of the original game had a more mixed reaction to the new sprites and lore.
