Quarterstaff is the first Robin of Sherwood letterzine. It has six issues that were published between December 1986 and May 1988. Each letterzine consisted of an editorial page, letters of comment from the readers, essays about Robin Hood, Celtic culture and medieval times and "Herne's Hatrack" (fanzine and fan club listings).
It was superseded by Herne's Stepchildren.
