The Pulp-Fiction-A-Thon was a Hanson fanfic challenge by the creators of the zine PULPHanson. Writers who signed up were challenged to write something every day for a full month, from December 15, 2001 to January 15, 2002.
From the website:
They're stagnant and bored and in the mood to write good, important things. Except they're lazy. Very very lazy. And they're sick of it. So they've decided to embark on a project. Hopefully, this project will kick them out of their Hanson-like dry spell and get them moving and creating things and thinking beyond the realm of, "Hm. Where am I going to be living/working in six months?" Minor concerns like that. So, do you wanna come? Because you can if you want. We've got room in the back seat, if you don't mind Hanson on the radio and all of those books and magazines and crap on the floor. We didn't think you would.
But I'm telling you, you can't come if a) you don't follow the rules, and if b) you get all upset when we make fun of Taylor, or c) you start being a party pooper. OK? OK. So if you do all of this crap that we're going to list for you right below this paragraph, we won't leave you on the side of the road somewhere, kicking and screaming and pissed, like in Anywhere but Here.[1]
