Reactions and Reviews
Blair has finally had enough, and left; a friend has lent him a boat, and he's gone off in it. But each of the Major Crime staff gets a knitted present on their birthday, and at Christmas...Shedoc handles 'guilty' Jim very nicely and by the end it's a moot point who is comforting whom.
This is the first of three stories; the middle one, very short, could be called a linking segment that seems to have been written a few months after the other two; for a summary of Primitive 2, Shedoc says 'more melodrama than you can poke a stick at!' (Jim goes feral). However, the first (which does stand on its own) is definitely my favourite of these 'Primitive' stories; I'm really only listing the other two because they follow it.[1]
