Prepare for Trouble!: A Pokévillain Zine is a Pokémon Zine dedicated to the series' villains, their villainous teams, and the protagonists' rivals. It features fanart, fanfiction and fancrafts, (a wooden pin, custom Pokémon card and stickers.[1]) It was a for-profit zine.[2]
On July 30th, 2021, moderator and contributor Mary Grayson, also known as tqbhc, passed away in an accident.[3] Fellow moderators for Prepare for Trouble! paused zine development following the news,[4] resuming one year later on August 20th, 2022.[5] The zine is dedicated to honoring Mary.
This zine is dedicated in the memory of our mod, Mary (@tqbhc), who tragically passed away last year. Although she is not here with us anymore, her brilliant creative influence, passion for art, and enthusiastic love for Pokemon can be felt throughout these pages. Although she is not here to see the end of this zine, we know a small piece of her lives on in this passion project.[6]
