OK, so I'm probably harsher on these two fics [1] than they deserve, but they read like... a paint by numbers B/A fic (that hasn't been painted in - the things that make these characters themselves, rather than just the descriptions of themselves, are missing). Or something. They physically fight, which turns into sex for some reason, and then Avon fears Blake will use him, Blake says you love me, Avon says no, and then eventually he says yes even though he doesn't want to. I just find it all so boring. And unconvincing. The weird move from fighting to sex is particularly odd, but I also find Blake's claims that Avon loves him rather grating - and this is my ship! [2]
