I have been singing the praises of my favorite slash story of the year for some time now, so people won't be astonished when I say that it's "Point of No Return" by Cassidy. Like my favorite slash story of 1998, "Demons in the Darkness" by Merrie Gail, it's a AAA arc story, but Methos' role in defeating the demon is absolutely pivotal. It's become my favorite version of AAA, and it's definitely the most romantic piece of D/M slash that I've ever read.[1]
