Pete Fisher (May 19, 1944 – July 10, 2012) was the author of the Star Trek:TOS slash novel Black Star. He also created the novel's cover. Pete Fisher also wrote Dreamlovers, a semi-autobiographical novel with RPF elements.
Outside of fandom, Fisher was a well-known activist who received the Stonewall Book Award for The Gay Mystique: The Myth and Reality of Male Homosexuality in 1972.
