Petshop of Horrors (or PSoH) is a Japanese manga series written and drawn by Matsuri Akino. After a break it was picked up again in 2005 as Pet Shop of Horrors: Tokyo. A four-part OVA series was released in 1999.[1] PSoH is about a mysterious pet shop in Chinatown, LA, run by Count D and selling "love, hope and dreams." As "love, hope and dreams" often takes the form of pets in human form and the death of Count D's customers, Detective Leon Orcot spends most of the series investigating and trying to arrest D for various offences.
