Pearlesque 5tars - sometimes shortened to P.5tars - is a SHINee fic fest based on Twitter and AO3. It is the fifth SHINee fest to debut on Twitter but only the fourth to run at least one round. It is usually run solo by Mod Aqua but a second moderator - blue - began helping on the fest in December 2022.

Round Three - Till 키-잉듬 Come
Round Three of P.5tars was revealed on September 18, 2022[1]. In English translation, the round is called "Till Keyngdom Come". A Carrd was shared for the round but was removed after the round finished.
Theme
The round was inspired by Kim Kibum (Key)'s most recent comeback, Gasoline.
Schedule
The original schedule for the third round was:
- The round and theme was introduced on September 18
- Claiming began on September 20
- Claiming ended and the last chance to drop out was October 1
- Final submissions were October 5
- Postings began October 10[2]
The round was set up to sign up via Google Form with postings on the Archive.
However, on September 29, the fest chose to extend the word count from 1000 to 1525 words. Due to this they chose to change the schedule to accommodate extra writing time for the authors[3].
The new schedule was as follows:
- Claiming ended on October 5
- Final submissions were October 8
- Postings began October 11
Postings and End of Round
The round ended with 7 works in their Archive Collection. The fest round created the tag "Music Video: Gasoline (Key)", with 5 of the 7 works being the only usage of the tag; as of December 2022, it yet has to be canonised on AO3. The most common relationship written for the round was Minho/Kibum with three works. One F/F work was written for the round - a Kibum/Taemin work. Nearly all works were a Kibum slash ship, with one Minho/Taemin making it's way into the final works.
Round Four - ARTISTee
On December 18, 2022 (19th in KST), the fest shared a graphic teasing their new round with the statement "We're gonna make art. We're going to become art. P.5tars is back — more on 20.12.2022.[4]" On the 19th (20th in KST), they shared their new round theme - ARTISTee[5]. They debuted a new Carrd for the round.
Theme
The theme focuses around writing SHINee fics inspired by art - the fest explains this as "inspired by an already existing piece of visual art, be it a painting or an art film"[6].
Schedule
The schedule for the fourth round is a 2022-2023 one:
- The round and theme was introduced on December 20th
- Sign ups began on December 21st
- Sign up ends and submissions begin on January 20th
- Fic posting begins January 21st[7] with reveals on January 24th
The round was run via Google Form sign ups and AO3 submissions.
