Paul Magrs is a writer known for his stories in the Doctor Who Expanded Universe, and for creating the character of Iris Wildthyme. Fellow Doctor Who writer Paul Cornell was his college classmate.
His stories are known for being weird and bizarre, often utilising metafiction. His book Mad Dogs and Englishman is especially notorious in fandom as the 'fucked up poodle book' and implies Fitz Kreiner has a petplay kink. He has also canonised himself as a character in the DWEU.
“average person makes 3 doctor who spin-offs" factoid is actually just statistical error. average person creates 0 doctor who spin-offs per year. Paul Magrs, who lives in cave & makes over 10,000 each day, is an outlier and should not have been counted”[1]
