What I feel is my best written short story, in any fandom, under any byline. Apparently, I’m the only person who knows it.I’ve always wanted to do something with Simon and Carolyn – their chemistry sizzled on screen – but I still wanted it to be a Jim and Blair story. I think I hit a great balance with this. I’m particularly proud of how many TS episodes I was able to tap into with this one little story.
I love the characterizations in this, especially Blair’s early feelings of “innocent” love toward Jim, and trying to find his bearings with Simon. I love the plot. Most of all, I love that I finally was able to do something with Carolyn and Simon getting it on. It’s been a long time coming.[1]
