The characters in the frame of this "frame story" (i.e. : Captain Kathryn Janeway, Commander Chakotay, Lt. Tom Paris, etc...) belong solely to Paramount Pictures. They are not used in this story for profit. The characters of Amelia Matthews, Nathaniel Holsteen, Jean-Paul LaBarre, et al., are characters derived from the writers’ own [overactive] imaginations.Well, this story started *before* the premiere of "Future’s End, Part One..."Little did we know how well those two episodes would tie-in to this story....Tom’s love of old movies, Kes and Neelix watching television aboard Voyager....all of it contributed very nicely. This first post has been edited a bit to tie-in better with the "Future’s End" eps.
There are *a lot* of inside jokes, often relating to the Golden Age films or other television series. Kudos to the person who catches any of them. If you happen to catch them, feel free to drop a note to [email addresses redacted].
This story is rated R for some minor violence, as well as some rather X-File like crimes within the mystery story. There are no sex scenes, though we do rely heavily on the possibility of a Janeway/Chakotay relationship, as well as that of a Paris/Torres relationship. [1]
