This is an amazing story, by a wonderful author who's just so great at writing this type of long, angsty, emotionally powerful tale. It's one of my favorite stories, one that I always think back to, because it sticks in my mind so well.Silent Key begins in the end of the episode The Sentinel by Blair Sandburg. Right after Blair's finished cleaning out his office, he gets a visit from Colonel Maybourne, who threatens and blackmails him into working in his program, training Sentinels for the military. (This isn't an SG1 crossover, by the way!) He literally makes Blair an offer he can't refuse, and Blair has to figure out a way out of an impossible situation. This story sweeps you along, and it's a thrilling ride from beginning to end.
I hope you guys love this story, and if you do, let the author know! I don't know of an author who doesn't appreciate feedback, and I know it always brightens my day when I get it. :) [1]
