Outcast, But Never Alone is a The Adventure Zone zine focused on LGBTQ and non-white characters drawn by LGBTQ and non-white artists. The zine was meant to ship in 2018, but many orders were never fulfilled. Some people received PDF copies only.[1] One tumblr user didn't even have their order properly processed, and posted in June 2018 that the zine was possibly a scam.[2]
In November 2018, a zine contributor theorized that one of the zine mods went AWOL and nobody remaining was able to take over production.[3]
Over $8000 dollars were raised in preorders, and proceeds were intended to go to The National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network and to LGBTCollege,[4] but in September 2019, evidence was posted that points to one of the zine mods took the money and ran.[5][6]
