Organian Enti'Zine is a 17-page, dittoed, high school club zine.
From the Zine
In the spring of 1974, some students became aware that a member of the Woodrow Wilson Science Department, Mrs. Mary Ellen Flynn, was quite interested in the television series Star Trek. Finding a common interest, the students and Mrs. Flynn formed a club.
After much deliberation, the group decided on a name: The Organian Entities, an emblem, and an emphasis on Space exploration, Star Trek, and the reading of Science Fiction. Within the last six weeks of the 1973-74 school year the club elected officers held informative and well-attended meetings, and took a field trip to Edmund Scientific Co, Barrington NJ.
Because of the enthusiasm of the members the club was recognized for the 1974-75 school year as the official Science club of WWHS. Meetings are held weekly with programs of various topics, guest speakers, contests field trips to areas of scientific interest, and fund-raising plans to round out the program. New members from the Wilson student body are always welcome and correspondence with similar organizations in other high schools is encouraged.
