Thomas is, for lack of a better term, a one-shot wonder. One story from 1998, none since; at least none in Sentinel. How do things like that happen? It's a cruel world.... Why you should read this: A nice premise, a lot of heft, a surprising degree of angst sustained until the very end, plus a reluctant and conflicted Blair.[1]
