Omori's Oven is a non-profit multimedia fanzine in the style of a cookbook for the psychological horror RPG OMORI. The interest check lasted from 11 - 30 September 2021.[1] The applications for chefs to create OMORI-inspired recipes for the zine lasted from 5 - 31 October 2021.[2] Results for the applicants were sent out on 8 November 2021.[3] Artist and writer applications opened on the 1st and closed on the 31st of December 2021.[4] Pre-orders for the zine opened on 1 May 2022[5] and closed on 13 June 2022,[6] though they were only originally open till 25 May 2022.[5] Leftover sales opened on 6 January 2023[7] and closed on 25 February 2023.[8] On 22 April 2023 they revealed they had raised almost $1,200 for Action Against Hunger.[9]
Contributors
The mod team consisted of seven people. Téa was co-leaders with Ronnie, and handled organization, social media, and writing. Ronnie, as well as being a co-leader with Téa, handled organization and art. Mai handled formatting; Meg handled chefs; Mill handled graphics; Teddy handled finances; and Effervul handled shipping.[10]

There were four different bundles available to be bought. The Hero's Full Course bundle and contained a physical and PDF zine, two prints, a sticker sheet, a recipe card, and all the available die cut stickers. The Gino's Best bundle contained a physical and PDF zine, one print, a sticker sheet, and two die cut stickers. The Mari's Picnic bundle only contained the digital PDF, and the Mustard Sub Special bundle only contained the physical zine.[5] The stretch goal for the acrylic charm and the enamel pin were reached and they were added to the Hero's Full Course and Gino's Best bundles.[11]
While pre-orders were open, some recipes were revealed, all themed around different locations in OMORI. The revealed White Space recipes are Arroz con Leche, Marshmallows, Egg in a Basket, and the Simplest Smoothie of All Time.[12] The revealed Headspace recipes are Roasted Sprout Moles, Dreamy Hamburger, Dino Jam, Toilet Ramen, and Toast Shaped Sandwich Cookies.[13] The revealed Faraway Town recipes are Churro Hearts, Kel Dirt, Hero Sandwich, and Mari's Cookies.[14]
