A scientist working for Kingpin's Alche-max, Octavius is the primary overseer of the dimension-breaching technology that causes the plot. Along with King-pin she is the primary antagonist of the movie.

Fandom

Since in their one brief encounter in the movie, May Parker says "Oh great, it's Liv", there is a lot of fandom interest in their relationship. Mostly shipping May Parker/Olivia Octavius but some gen takes as well.
