Olivia Benson is a fictional main character from Law & Order: SVU, portrayed by Mariska Hargitay.
Canon
Olivia Benson is a character in the police procedural TV series, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. When the series began, she was a junior detective in the Manhattan Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department. She and her partner, Elliot Stabler, investigated sexual offenses such as rape and pedophilia. At the end of Season 12, Stabler left; and Benson was partnered with Nick Amara until, in Season 15, she was promoted and made the commanding officer of the unit.

The biggest Olivia ship is Olivia Benson/Elliot Stabler, but after Elliot left, there were some smaller het ships that included Olivia Benson/Ed Tucker or Olivia Benson/Rafael Barba.[1]
