Octonauts is an animated television show based on a series of children's books. The fandom is (insert short fandom summary here).
Canon
The television show was produced by Chorion Ltd (2010-2012), Silvergate Media (2010-present), Brown Bag Films (2010-2018) and Mainframe Studios (2020-present). It is based on the book series of the same name created by Meomi, the design team of Vicki Wong & Michael C. Murphy. A spin-off series, Octonauts: Above and Beyond was also produced by Silvergate Media and Mainframe Studios for Netflix (2021-2022).
The show follows an underwater exploring crew made up of stylised anthropomorphic animals, a team of eight adventurers who live in an undersea base, the Octopod, from which they go on undersea adventures with the help of a fleet of aquatic vehicles.
