Nyah! Fanfiction also Nyah! is a Brazilian fanfiction archive site created in November 2005 by programmer Michael Frank a.k.a. Seiji. According to CEO Seiji the site will be preceded by +Fiction (read sound Plus Fiction) in the near future, tests of the new site are already underway. The site has a pink-haired, cat-eared mascot named Misaki. Currently, in March 2022, the maintenance and management of the site is handled by Michael's Company, Hakori.

Oh Nyah! Fanfiction was created in November 2005. When I created it, I just wanted my friends to have a place to post their fanfictions and gather people who like the same anime, books and series. Today my goal is to make people enjoy reading while encouraging them to explore their creative side.
In 2005 I only knew how to program in Visual Basic and Delphi, I didn't understand anything about developing systems for the internet. I used the eFiction system to create Nyah! fanfiction. Unfortunately eFiction did not offer many features required by users, to meet them I learned to program in PHP in practice, changing the system code. A lot of changes were needed to optimize the system and implement new tools, despite having kept the same appearance in some parts of the site, internally it had to be completely redone.
The site has grown a lot since its opening and we have already been mentioned by several newspapers and magazines.[1]
Controversy
The site's posting policy prohibits,[2] among other things, the use of emojis/emoticons, comments and notes in the chapter body, posted lists in the text of the works, and RPF/RPS of personalities outside of the Bands/Singers category. It is also prohibited to publish any type of translation, texts that are not in Brazilian Portuguese or non-original content, such as works in the public domain. Between 2010 and 2011 a purge of works said to have "poor quality" writing caused many users to leave the platform. Another purge, on 16th September 2012, removed the Bands Category and was met with pushback from readers and writers. [3] Even with the return of the category years later, several works were lost as well as countless authors who never returned to the platform. This development has fueled a growing wave of hatred against the site and its administration in some groups.
There have been numerous complains from users about the site's image policy. Users complained that rules about image sizing and content change frequently, including cropping of uploaded images whether NSFW visual content is allowed. Currently images that depict women in underwear, sexy poses, or shirtless men may be removed without notice.
