Summary
CIA messes up again and now the whole world knows about the Nations! Apparently, this only makes their tense international relations even worse than they already were, while humans adapt and wars continue as usual.

By far, my favorite fic in the fandom. This author obviously knows her shit, it’s research to the limit. It discussed the political ramifications of the discovery of nations and goes in-depth on how the nations really would feel in the semi-current political atmosphere. A big thing about this story, however, is how it stresses that they are nations, and while they are human in some aspects, they are also just not. Their morals are different. their relationships with each other are not what we’d consider healthy, but the rules are different for them. It hits controversial topics because the nations embody the people and the people have different opinions. A good example is Hungary is expected to be a feminist but not because she isn’t a human female and went through different things. This whole story is wow.[1]
