Naomi/Emily, also known as Naomily, is a femslash pairing of Naomi Campbell and Emily Fitch in the Skins fandom.

Canon

Naomi and Emily are first shown starting sixth form together, though the two know each other from high school. They had shared a drunken kiss while at a party the prevision year which caused a rift between them, which is further increased by Katie, Emily's twin sister, hostile attitude towards Naomi. The third series goes on to show Naomi and Emily dealing with their feelings and coming to terms with their sexuality. By the end of the series they both come out publicly as a couple.

Much of the fourth series deals with Emily and Naomi having problems with their relationship, mostly due to Naomi cheating on Emily while also having contrasting plans on whether they should go to University right after graduating or not. By "Everyone", their relationship is rocky, but Naomi finally reveals her true feelings: that she had always loved Emily and that she is done running, and presents to her two tickets to travel after graduation, and thus she and Naomi resolve their issues - forgiving each other for the hurt they each caused the other over the course of the series.[1]

Fandom

Naomi/Emily not only became perhaps the most popular couple in the show's history, but the pairing also became icons in LGBT media visibility, acclaimed and celebrated well outside the Skins fandom. While this has become more common for a lot of LGBT characters in resent media, especially on shows aimed at teenagers. However the pairing's effect within the skins fandom was prevalent that the phrase "the Naomily phenomenon" was coined in reference to it.

When season 3 was airing and Naomily was first gaining it large following there was some push back from fans when Emily slept with JJ, as it was felt to be playing into old lesbian cliches in media where they always end up with men in some way or another.[2]

There was much outcry over season 7 of Skins which had Naomi die from cancer. This season is often criticized or ignored by many skins fans for its bleak outlook on the character's futures, not just naomily shippers.
