Musicality, in a general sense, refers to "sensitivity to, knowledge of, or talent for music"[1] It is commonly used by vidders to refer to how well a vid suits its music.
Musicality is what distinguishes a clipshow with a randomly chosen favorite song playing over the vidder's favorite scenes from a vid where the choice of music is integral to the work.
Obsessive24 defines musicality as: "Visuals should look the way the music sounds, invoking a sense of synesthesia."[2]
