Recs and Reviews

All of today’s recs are by ariadnes_string. She’s got more H50 fic that I have read but these were my favourites. I’m still having to be careful about what H50 fic I read because I am only just halfway through the 2nd season so nothing too recent will be listed here. [...] It is surprisingly hard to find gen fic for this fandom. I think part of that is the onscreen relationship between Steve and Danny. Still, what little there is that I’ve found for the earlier seasons has been pretty good and Morning At Sea is one of my favourites. I was prepared for an overly angsty fic from the description but actually it’s a great little quiet fic about Steve being basically incapable of taking care of himself or recognising his limits. It also has Danny being a mother hen, which I mentioned earlier is one of my favourite things. It’s a cute fic, if a little angsty, and fun to read.[1]
