Moonlighting is a television series directed by Glenn Gordon Caron that ran from 1985 to 1989 on ABC. It stared Cybill Shepherd and the as-yet undiscovered Bruce Willis in an hour-long mystery/romance/comedy about an LA detective agency.
For five seasons the leads played Maddie Hayes, former model and David Addison, a charmer with a flexible moral fiber, who manage to solve mysteries while engaging in a spirited battle of wits with escalating sexual tension. The show's splendid UST is legendary.
